We are a modern well established private practice that has been in the community for over 25 years.
We utilise the latest technology and equipment such as a modern OPG CBCT machine, CEREC, Prime Scan, intra-oral cameras, full implant set up, in chair ZOOM whitening. We are a preferred provider for Bupa, Medibank, HCF & super provider for Mildura Health fund.
Swan Hill is a regional city in Victoria situated on the beautiful Murray River. Located just three and a half hours north-west of Melbourne and five and a half hours from Adelaide. We have 8 chairs in our clinic and high patient volumes from our loyal patient base, our future is healthy.
Our Team and your new mentors
Dr Nicholas Weightman
Dr Nick has over 20 years’ experience in clinical dentistry and teaching since graduating from the University of Adelaide in 1996. Nick owned a practice in Blackwood, Adelaide but sold his share in 2010 to move to Netherlands to pursue a desire to live, work and teach in Europe. Passed his Dutch Dental registration and was a teacher and lecturer at the Academic Centre of Dentistry in Amsterdam in the Dental Radiology and Dental Hygiene department. Alongside with working in a private practice. After 10 years of missing the Australian culture, he returned to Australia and chose Alice Springs as his next venture. Working there for 3 years and has now relocated to Swan Hill.
Dr Sindhu Ravichandran
Sindhu graduated from Dental School in India in 2011. After her marriage, she arrived in Australia in 2012, where she did her dental exam for her Australian registration. Sindhu learned to love country and regional Australia for the community spirit and the relaxed attitude when she was a part of the Albury-Wodonga community for eight years. After spending some years in Broken Hill, in 2021, she made Swan Hill her home and worked at the Swan Hill Hospital for some years before joining the team at Tankard Family Dental.
Dr Declan Dreyer
Dr Declan grew up in Adelaide and graduated at the University of Adelaide. In his final years, pursued a research degree in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from which he achieved First Class Honours. Following graduation, he worked in Adelaide for several years before joining and becoming a principal dentist at Tankard Dental Riverland (based in South Australia) and Tankard Family Dental Swan Hill.
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Oral Health Therapist to strengthen our clinical team in our fast growing clinic.
If your professional aim is to make a difference in people’s lives and be part of an ethical, caring and diverse team of dental professionals, our full-time OHT position (part time negotiable for the right candidate) may be just the opportunity you’re looking for.
The successful candidate must be caring and empathetic with strong communication skills, sound clinical ability and be able to work well in a team environment.

We are offering a generous renumeration and can be flexible for the right applicant. You will be working closely with our clinical team of dentists, hygienist, prosthetist and visiting specialists and be involved in treatment planning whilst delivering the best possible care to our patients
About You
The chosen candidate will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current indemnity insurance
- Relevant clinical experience is preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Highly motivated and self-driven with an excellent work ethic
- High level of skills in all relevant areas of dentistry
Our operating hours are between 7.45am to 6.30pm on weekdays.
